B.   Women of wisdom Trust (WOW-T) is an Organization which started in 2004  Registered Trust. No: 3134     (Under cap. 375) with AIM of educating the different groups of people in the society of how to  develop themselves economically, education wise, in family issues ,skills, business and   in Leadership.  Also WOWI provide knowledge, Counselling and economical support to the needy people such as PLWHAS (People living with HIV/AIDS), Disabled, OVCs (Orphans & vulnerable Children), Poor families, Widows and jobless youths. WOWI-T attends to all needy People not bound to their political parts or Religion.

The Women of Wisdom organization has the following technical staffs.(i) Project Director- expert in Project Administration, (ii) Coordinator.(iii) 4 Social counselling, (vi) Treasurer/ Financial Accountant- Expert in financial records. (v) Secretary who carries secretarial duties and record keeping (v) 6Volunteer workers.

                                                                                                                                                                            

A.    Our Past Projects & Experience.

1. Conducting Educative Radio Programs sponsored by radio Administration, Seminars and workshops to youths, Women, widows and PLHAS on spiritual, Nutrition, Entrepreneurship and supervising handcrafts works Under TanTrade 2006 and 2007.

2.The Organization personnel actively participates in workshops of International nature about HIV/AIDS at AICC in Arusha 2007

Sponsored by TACAIDS.Hence gained more knowledge on HIV/AIDS and Prevention.

3.WOWI  participated in a Workshop conducted by llala district Authorities in collaboration with TACAIDS focusing on HIV/AIDS prevention and care for PLWHAs(People living with HIV/AIDS)

4.Support jobless youth to get vocational Training and employment in other colleges.

5. In 2007 our Organization initiated the HIV programs for PLWHAs supported by RFA

(Regional facilitating Agency) to provide care services, (care and maintenance at Ward level) and empowering them economically.

6.Also WOWI conducted SEMINARS   Project supported by SLF Stephen Lewis foundation -Canada  Educating PLWHAS on proper Nutrition and Entrepreneurship.

7. Providing capitals as soft loans for IGA(income generation activities) to PLWHAS

8.Supporting OVCs (Orphans and vulnerable children) to get school materials and taking them to picnic recreation centres. Sponsored by RFA (Regional facilitating Agency)

9.      Distributing Nutritious and staple food to PLWHAS monthly.

10.  Running Vocational trainings (Designing & Tailoring, Vehicle maintenance and carpentry. Supported by (WORK AID- UK)

11.  Distributing boxes of Christmas gifts to 100 Children Orphans and Normal aged 2 to 12 years supported by SURMARTAN PURSE OCC.

B.     OUR UPCOMING  PROJECT TO SUPPORT VULNERABLE GROUPS. USD 84,625

1.      To support PLWHAS -Vulnerable groups of  20 women and 20  jobless youths   get the knowledge of Entrepreneurship, how to start IGA projects and  to help them get capitals as SOFT LOANS.

2.       To support  40 OVC Orphans and vulnerable children to get school fees and  School materials. Per year.

3.      To run vocational trainings at our centre and sponsor  10 jobless youths per Year to study skills at VETA and help them to get employment or start IGA for themselves.

4.      To start WOWI Income generation activities IGA 1) WELL & WATER PUMP 2) To make bricks for sale and for our building projects.

C.    OUR LONG TERM VISION.

A.Our vision is to build  WOW COMMUNITY  REFUGEE CENTER which shall include:

1. Hall for  WOWI meetings Seminars and Hiring to other Activities for making income.

2. Build 3 Classes and 4Rooms apartment for Offices, Kitchen and Store to keep our Equipments

3. 10 Rooms for shelter to the needy and  Hostel for Visitors.
